Why We Built This Site
New Mexico court access can be hard to route in a rural county. Mora district matters are served through the Fourth Judicial District in Las Vegas, while magistrate cases have a Mora courthouse route and probate has its own court contact. The County Clerk is a county-government office and is not automatically the custodian of a state-court file. This resource brings those distinctions, official search entries, and records-request paths together so a visitor can start with the proper court.
The official record remains with the Fourth Judicial District Court Clerk's Office, the Mora County Magistrate Court clerk, or the court that holds the specific file. New Mexico Case Lookup and the Fourth District hearing schedules are useful public access channels, but they do not replace clerk verification or a certified copy.
What You Will Find Here
- Docket routes: the different Mora County paths for criminal and civil court information.
- Dates and settings: how the Fourth District's short-window hearing schedules and clerk confirmation work.
- Case lookup: the public New Mexico Case Lookup lane and the separate registered re:Search®NM access route.
- Records requests: clerk, in-person inspection, copy, certification, and New Mexico IPRA information.
What We Cannot Do
This is a privately operated reference resource, not a New Mexico court, clerk's office, or government agency. It cannot retrieve an official case file, change or verify a setting, issue a certified copy, seal a record, file a document, or offer legal advice. A court or clerk controls those actions.
- It cannot supply an official docket or a filed document.
- It cannot reset a court date or speak for a judge.
- It cannot resolve a case-specific access restriction.
- It cannot determine a legal deadline or legal strategy.
- It cannot guarantee a court's current fee, office practice, or online availability.
For a document that must be official, request it from the clerk or court that maintains the Mora County case file.
Search Partners
Some content pages contain a search box operated by a third-party provider. That provider controls its service, prices, and results. A paid signup may produce a referral payment to this private resource. The box is separate from New Mexico Case Lookup, re:Search®NM, court hearing schedules, and court clerk records systems.
